The RBC Performance Conference is an annual event celebrating excellence among leaders and employees. A key tradition is designing and trading pins, with each region vying for bragging rights. This year, the challenge was to create a unique pin with a higher purpose. Collaborating with an Indigenous woman artist, Andrai ensured the pin reflected Indigenous issues and donated $1 per pin to the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation. The design features symbols like the Red Dress, Metis Flag, Orange Shirt, and Eagle feather, emphasizing their significance. Andrai’s creativity and determination made it possible.
